Metalslug Secrets

Did you know that part of every metalslug title is unused, beta and test stages and units that the programers left without deleting after finishing the development? Would you like to see and play with these stages and units? You've come to the right place. This guide will hef you reach these stages and play them through two steps.

1:Debug Menu

To have a complete control of the game, programers have created a debug menu.This step is made to show you how you can gain access to that menu.For this you will need:

Kawaks Emulator (Not mame)

A rom(Metalslug 2,3,4,5 or X

Now, open your rom in Kawaks. Now go to Game/NeoGeo setings
You will notice that there are interesting choices there.Now click on Console and then
click on Freeplay

You will notice that the game is in console mode. That means hat the button for coins is used as a pause button. Start the game and reach the start of the 1st mission. Now It's time to enter the debug menu. Press the pause button to pause the game and then press it again and the debug menu will apear.
If it doesn't apear:
Be sure that you are not using metalslug super vehicle 001 (It hasn't got debug menu)
Reload your rom
If nothing of these helps reset the emulator and start again.

2: Useful Information

As soon as you open the debug menu you will notice that there are six choices.
Lets start with the test stages :
Select the TEST STAGE choice and a new window will appear. In these window you will
see all the test stages the game has. To go to a test stage select it.
Other stages:
Go to the debug menu and select the choice above the test stage. It is a bunch of japanise letters.
Once you enter there a new window will appear with choices that consist of a number, the:symbol
another number and a name

Example:

1:  1 (a name here -------------)

The first number isthe mission number.The second number is the aera number.
You can select any mission you want in the aera you want.
If the number of the aera is bigger than the aeras existing in a mission or
the number of the mission is bigger than the missions that exist (Mission allover and
demonstration stages count as missions) You are trasported to an unused aera, a beta aera or
a point in the selected mission.

Metal Slug 7

Hi Metal Slug fans. If you like Metal Slug and you have a DS, we have the solution for you and its called : Metal Slug 7.
Metal Slug 7 is the first DS title of Metal Slug. There are 6 characters available including Marco, Tarma, Eri, Fio, Clark and Ralf. All previously seen weapons will be available plus two more. Metal Slug 7 has 7 playable missions which you can play on 3 different difficulties: EASY, NORMAL and HARD . Is has a combat school mode with more than 70 training programs plus special training for each mission.Unfortunately  there is no
multiplayer mode. The game has been released for the PSP as well. In the PSP version the game is called Metal Slug XX (Double X) and there is a multiplayer mode.

For those who want to try the game before buying it we have the link to the Us version of the game for the DS. Also we have a link of an emulator to play on PC.Note that on PC the quality isn't good but if you try to play on a flash card it will work great
